Vortrag

Vortrag über die Identitätssuche einer stigmatisierten Gruppe. „Sie ist eine Hexe.“ – Für tausende von Frauen in Westafrika bedeutet dieses Urteil ein schweres Schicksal – häufig sogar ein Todesurteil. In Ghana werden noch heute Frauen als vermeintliche Hexen gebrandmarkt und brutal verfolgt. Neben Hexenglauben und Angst sind häufig Neid und Missgunst die Ausl.ser einer vielfach t.dlichen Hexenjagd.

Niemand weiß genau, wie viele Frauen vergiftet, erdrosselt, ertränkt oder verbrannt werden. Hexendörfer sind eine Zuflucht, die den Frauen zwar das Leben rettet, ihre Identität und ihre Rolle jedoch haben sie auf der Flucht verloren.
