Dive into the colorful depths of the sea and explore the rooms of the Arnulf Rainer Museum, a former spa building. Experience an imaginative fairy-tale story about the ocean and discover Arnulf Rainer’s fantastical visions of the deep sea. Through interactive elements, we explore the origins of biodiversity, the European oyster, as well as topics related to nature and animal conservation.

After this magical, story-based introduction in the museum, we move on to hands-on creative work in the studio. Using natural materials, microorganisms, and shells, you will design your own mini aquarium to take home! Participants are supported throughout the workshop by an artist and an aquarium design expert.
