Description
Architect Richard Messner personally leads visitors on a tour of the building. During this tour, visitors gain fascinating insights into the architectural features and the building’s transformation into a museum.
From July 24–26, 2026, art.baden—a new contemporary art fair—will take place in Baden for the first time. To accompany the event, the Arnulf Rainer Museum is offering a special program featuring extended opening hours until 8:00 p.m. and special guided tours on July 25th 2026.

6:00–7:00 p.m.: Guided tour of the current exhibition with curator Nikolaus Kratzer
7:00–8:00 p.m.: Guided tour focusing on architecture with architect Richard Messner
TIP: With a ticket from the Arnulf Rainer Museum, visitors receive free admission to the art.baden art fair. // With a valid art fair ticket, admission to the Arnulf Rainer Museum on the days of the fair costs only €8 instead of €10.
