Take the Baden Local Railway from the Vienna State Opera or Vienna Meidling to the spa town of Baden and make the journey itself part of your trip to the museum. The final stop, Josefsplatz, is directly in front of the entrance to the Arnulf Rainer Museum.

A train departs every half hour from Vienna and Wiener Neustadt, taking you to the spa town of Baden in approximately 30 minutes. There are also hourly trains to and from Payerbach-Reichenau and Baden bei Wien.

The Arnulf Rainer Museum is a 4-minute walk from Baden bei Wien train station. Alternatively, you can take the Badener Lokalbahn (local railway) from the station to Josefsplatz in Baden for the final stretch.

Take the Baden exit on the A2 and then head towards the city center. The Arnulf Rainer Museum is located directly on Josefsplatz.

Parking is available at the Römertherme Baden parking deck or in the Casino Baden parking garage.

Yes, the Arnulf Rainer Museum is largely wheelchair accessible. It is possible to drop off people in front of the building. Unfortunately, there are no parking spaces directly in front of the building.

The NÖ Card discount applies to museum admission. As a NÖ Card holder, you can visit the Arnulf Rainer Museum once per season free of charge. The NÖ Card is only valid for your individual visit and is not valid for educational programs.

Bulky items of any kind, such as umbrellas, hiking poles, backpacks, travel bags, or sports bags, are not permitted in the exhibition spaces. Bicycles, scooters, and other vehicle-like devices are also prohibited. This does not apply to medically necessary vehicle-like devices and walking aids.

There is a cloakroom with lockers in the entrance area where you can leave and lock your belongings.

Yes, there is a free cloakroom in the entrance area. You will also find lockers there for storing items.

We assume no liability for the cloakroom or the contents of the lockers.

Unfortunately, dogs, cats, and other animals are not permitted in the museum. Assistance dogs are an exception.
