The ORF LONG NIGHT OF MUSEUMS invites visitors, just before the exhibition ends (only through October 4, 2026), to discover the “Arnulf Rainer & Art Brut” exhibition through a diverse educational program. Various guided tours offer fascinating insights into art and architecture.

HIGHLIGHT TOUR (AT 7:00 PM): Highlights of the current exhibition “Arnulf Rainer & Art Brut.”

Discover how Arnulf Rainer’s provocative hand-, finger-, and foot-paintings, his expressive “Face Farces,” and his powerful overpaintings enter into a dynamic dialogue with the works of international Art Brut artists. These include works by Rudolf Horacek, Fritz Koller, Hans Krüsi, Rudolf Liemberger, Philipp Schöpke, Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern, Volkmar Schulz-Rumpold, Oswald Tschirtner, August Walla, and Adolf Wölfli.
